BAYCHIMO was kept too far behind as if it's carrying a weight of 65 kgs by Jockey Suraj. Very bad riding by Suraj as it has to cover acres of ground at bend.

Tom has delivered as per expectation of Shroff. I too earned lot of money on his mounts abroad

FYNBOS  clocked  record timings by 5 lengths with 2.27.62 which was previously owned by wonder horse and my all time best BE SAFE  won indian derby by  common canter without using  whip at 2.27.71although  carried weights are different

1st Race 

As Trevor had a treble yesterday, ignoring him for winning atleast first few races, 2 Ashwa Gypsy, 7 Savage Peacock or 10 Renaissance can upset Don Julio, both 7&10 having age advantage, will take a chance on 10 Renaissance wp

2nd Race 

1 Alexios likely to take on 3 Puccini

3rd Race 

1 African Gold can beat 2 Santissimo again

4th Race 

1 Beast Mode or 9 Tempo to upset the birthday girl 6 Lady Scarlet

5th Race 

Once thought a Derby contender, 10 Namiri at bottom weight or 8 King Ke (give and take) may fight it out with gamble chance on 2 Evaldo

6th Race 

2 Buckingham may beat 5 D'artagnan again (but later having slight weight advantage now)

7th Race (DERBY)

Though done nothing wrong 8 Fynbos may lose because of the imported jockey, I feel 6 Zacharias and 10 Kings Gambit are the one trainer going to try, though 1 Baychimo also done nothing wrong, I feel the distance can be a problem for him, I will try longer odds place with 5 Stormy Sea (just for being son of Anjeze)

7 Big Bay to be tried today along with 2 Fontana, the long pending 3 Cellini can be the huge upset if any

9th Race

RACE 1 : Hrs no 4 (*DON JULIO*)  won in his last  ran over 6 furlongs, now running in an extended trip in same class, retains good form, ace jockey engaged on top now, if intend positive can romp back home today.

RACE 2 : Hrs no 7 (*VORTEX*) well bred fillie, ran easy 4th over 7 furlong trip on debut, now running in ideal distance, retains good form and same jockey retains his mount, she should be in the finishing frame today.

I have studied the card carefully keeping in mind, breeds, distance, jockey, trainer, current conditions, horses weights and watched replays as well. Hopefully I must not go wrong today. I have given you my analysis based on above for each and every races today. 

Here are some more points emphasizing my selection:

Sandesh winners have gone to Trevor Patel, keep an eye.

1-4 DON JULIO - The way it came from behind and won over 1200m. Should not loose over this 1400m trip. Sandesh to Trevor Patel.

2-3 PUCCINI - By Cougar Mountain for longer distances. Last run 1200m was short coming from last and finished a close 3rd. Tom Marquand and 1600m both positives.

3-1 AFRICAN GOLD - Won pillar to post over 1800m. Again will go in the same fashion catch me if you can with Akshay and a mile distance.

4-6 LADY SCARLET - Was going wire to wire over 1200m until beaten lnk by Nebula over 1200m 1:9:21  Again Sandesh to Trevor Patel.

5-1 PSYCHIC STAR - Winner of many term races including Oaks over 2400m. Last run lost to African Gold over 1800m. Winner of five races with Vivek G in the saddle.

6-2 BUCKINGHAM - By Holy Roman Emperor. David Allan on board and winner of its first race over 1400m in fine fashion.

7-8 FNYBOS - 9 Runs, 6 Wins and 2 Seconds in all term races. Last run an impressive winner over 2400m Indian Oaks by 6L. Tom Marquand should get a double with Puccini.

8-5 WESTERN STAR - By Dali. A future of TIME AND TIDE. Winner of four races out of five over shorter distances 1000 to 1400m. Last run 4th was over 1600m was impressive too 1:34:78 But meant for shorter distances.

9-2 TROPICAL PARADISE - This is a lowest category race. Last run 2nd over 1200m 1:11:14 Going over same weight and distance. 3 SANTANA ROW 1:11:17 6 MINSTRY OF TIME 1:11:5 might run close its a close contest between the three.

If we leave aside Prestine glory just 3 trainers are competing for a prestigious race like Indian Derby. Pathetic to say the least. Why owners are giving their best horses to only 2 trainers? There is no doubt that Pesi and Adhi are good trainers but so are the likes of Imtiaz, Dallas, Narredu, Chauhan, Faisal and more. Sadly RWITC is killing the competition required for a classic race. No excitement, no thrill, no fun except ofcourse for the people who gamble heavy for them racing is just a source of winning/losing money.
