YES ..it is worth. Cracking a jackpot needs lot of understanding of the Race... Not everyone can crack it. Not as simple as playing King ke and Reset Classic . 

I doubt that King ke nd desert classic wee made bankers on the winning tickets .

If u take a 10 rs ticket winnee ticket with all 5 winning horses .. isn't it worth 33k ? 1 winner 1 runner . 

You would get runner tickets as many runners in last leg . 

Missed 2 times single ticket in Mysore worth 3 lakhs .. had banker in 3rd leg .. with all other winners .

Iif odds on Fav had won ..then the same tickets would have fetched less than 1k .. due to 50lakhs extra added by club for Derby Day. If no extra money .. not even that .

People are getting confused over GST and Income tax. I will clarify as under. Investment whether successful or unsuccessful will attract 40 percent GST . Suppose you invest 50,000/- 20,000 will be GST state 10,000/- and Central 10,000/-. If yours is successful ticket , if the dividend is less than 10,000/- no income tax you will get full amount without any deduction , otherwise 30percent on profit minus investment. So you have to ensure that multiple tickets shall be bought not to attract any Tds on your winning ticket and profit shall be 10,000/- below despite any investment. Hope I have clarified your query.

If the winning ticket is accounted for more than Rs. 10,000/- then the ticket holder should be liable to pay 30% of the winning amount as TDS (Tax Deduction @ Source) which will be deducted and added into the ticket holders PAN Account. Later the PAN holder can claim this amount while filling the ITR.

Straight answer to title post is that "Yes" 

If you are playing (investing less) and getting even 10 times of your investment in returns means definitely yes

But now a days the collections are very less and if you are investing 10k for your jackpot on a favorite day, you won't get 10% of your investment back, it depends on how many hot favorites lost to get a good return dividend

Good question, but what admin of indiarace can do in this, as you can bet only in race clubs and their totes which won't come to indiarace admin territory, and to be frank none of them see horse talk and respond to you

Secondly it is the Race clubs idea of win-win like "chit tu hara pat main jeeta" they just want your money to enjoy for themselves

I think the clud deducts around 45% or so from the total collection and give back from the remaining only, that is if they are adding 50Lakhs to attract punters, indirectly they are adding only 25Lakhs and punters in search of big JP adds another 1cr plus to the collection from which also they deduct 50Lakhs plus and gives peanuts to punters

Let us assume Jackpot collection is Rs100000/- then 30% is consolation JP and 70% is final JP..this is the allocation formula on 100% collection..now we have 1825 tkts on 4th leg and 211 tkts on 5th leg of solved Jackpot.. dividends will be 30000 divided by 1825 and 70000 by 211..now you calculate and you will arrive at the final dividend for payment

The Turf Authorities of India should make a contribution as well and take action to save the sport. They should communicate with the government and help those in power understand that a 40% GST isn't feasible and that it is crippling the sport.

Very True Dark Horse Told, but the Turf Authorities of India are not doing anything to save the sport from these exorbitant taxes. It seems they want the sport to die. 

Hi respected Htians I have small doubt here please clarify me we play in tote certain amount i.e 50,000 then the club will deduct tax in that 50000 and remaining amount will be distributed to all the punter who won in that particular race it's all good upto now.the real question is now I won 12000 in that certain race and the club members are again deducting tax on my ticket why? Can somebody please clarify ADMIN SIR PLEASE POST THIS

Why they give less amount 1627/-Consolation and 32844/-jp amount.

Playing jackpot is a totally waste investment after the GST fiasco. Except on derby days in different centres you can try as the collection was huge. I got jp yesterday in hyd for 360 rs.It paid only 16 k plus whereas in rwitc which was having combined jp paid much better 37k. In hyd pay out  for all pools are very less. Better to play with bookies win or place to enjoy the thrill
