I feel it's over , for both centres Ooty and Chennai , the cherry on top should be that even Bookmakers of these centres run away as far as possible , a goverment undertaking of tote betting online or at chosen centres can take intervene bettings of other race centres , but the Club should close period .

There is no chance of racing at MRC ... Intervenue betting will be conducted until a new race course is built. It seems government has allotted land in hosur for the new race course but still in early stages to be official yet.

It is said that madras race club have been allocated with a land in outer skirts of Chennai and the intervenue betting are taking place as usually but after some days it will be shifted to another side of the race course I think or else will continue as it is now 

It's all over as far as racing in Chennai is concerned. You will not get to see the racecourse anymore very soon. A mammoth multi-storey building is being planned in place. With that inter-venue betting will also be gone. Lucky Tamil punters ! Finally, they are going to get a reprieve from a habit from which they are unable to come out for years together. Of course, some 'die-hard' fans and 'money losers' may travel up to Bangalore, but how long that also will be possible?
