I seriously feel horse was hanging and even last outing it was David Allan's riding which got him through. This was a very tough set and he will improve and will be one of the classic contender this year.

Don't judge Buckingham on this run. Remember rarely an Indian Classic winner have won this race. And till now no PBMM winner has won the Indian Derby. I firmly believe Buckingham was never ridden with intent to win. 

First he waits even when race comes to boil. Then drifts out with Invictor, then is switched on the rails from 10 horse wide position. No horse would have won in such a ride. Watch the race near 400. The horse is moving on its own and Anthony is holding tight. Then Invictor takes him wide he is happy to go. Then he sees impossible to catch lady scarlet and instead of urging from his position he switched the horse to the rails. And still horse ends 1.75 lengths behind the winner. 

Buckingham is better when David allan in saddle, antony raj unfit for riding. It is choice that mattered. 

Buckingham had beaten nebula.

Nebula had beaten lady scarlet. 

Lady scarlet had beaten margaretta. 

But now Margaretta beats them all to win the pbmm. 

That's racing!

Sir just because Enrich cost 1.4 cr doesnt gaurantee anything in horse racing . Yes Enrich is a good horse with bright potential and can even win . Absolutely no gaurantee because of his price . 1.Buckingham: Buckingham showed significant promise as juvenile/early 3 year old.Based on a pedigree, He is considered as a noteworthy contender in Indian classic circuit

2.Enrich: Enrich competed in maiden race(1400m) and won comfortably where he was highly rated.This colt is considered a strong prospect for the classics, potentially stretching out to longer distances as he matures.

3.Lady Scarlet:She is a emerging 3yr old filly has shown the ability to extend the lead in final 300 meters, is naturally suited for 1400m-1600m.

Enrich and Buckingham unbeaten

BUCKINGHAM will romp home quite comfortably.

1st run, timing was at par with a class I race run on that day, and then, in 2nd run improves on his timing by 2 seconds, quite impressive. This one, as I mentioned before, would be in class I in no time. 

Enrich won a 1400m race on debut, and I respect such horses, but I reckon it would be too much for him to tackle Buckingham. 

Nebula should finish 3rd.
