1-3 EL GRECO - After couple of 2nds over 1600m ran a G2 race over 2000m which can be ignored. Was shd 2nd to 2 PRIDE PRINCE, I am sure will reverse the placings with weight advantage. I see the danger coming from 5 CHAGALL who ran a close race to EL GRECO and who is 10Kg better off on weights is a good SHP bet.

2-6 LEMPIKA - By Gleneagles. First run can be a winning one with Vivek G in the saddle. 8 SHADAI must have come up with couple of runs over 1000m and with benefit of runs and David Allan in the saddle is the danger and can be a open race with many new comers.

3-5 SURREALIST - By Dali. Just one win after nine starts. Last run a good 4th over 1200m 1:11:33 with Vivek G in the saddle who is taking the ride again. 1 CINDRELLA'S DREAM ran in higher class in couple of races 5th  over 1200m might be difficult carrying top weight. I prefer Surrealist.

4-6 MENORCA - Coming with recent runs over 1400m maiden races. Last run 5th with Mustakim Alam on board 1:24:89 Now with David Allan in the saddle should run a different race over the same distance and will come out of maiden ranks.

5-8 SENTINEL - A recent winner over 1000m 58:68 carrying 59Kg in class5, showing a great turn of foot. Now going in higher class with 55Kg will repeat going with same jockey Bhawani Singh and 1000m.

Race 4 - Snow girl - very good win bet.. If u watch the previous race u will notice that the horse was badly cramped up with no room on both sides at the 400 meter mark and tighted up. If placed well will win for sure.. And the trainer has retained the same jockey.

Race 5 - Rafael - Good Jockey.. if he can maintain a good pace in 2nd and 3rd position can win.. but if the odds are good then a place bet is a better option.

Race 6 - Yourmylove - Place

Race 7 - fight between Wind Dancer and Wings of fury.

Yesterday I gave Royal King first race which paid Rs 46 a tenure, today I will try my level best. Agreed  racing has declined in India, the season for full week racing gonna start only by after June , gone may be good old days when we used to have 365 days of racing in India, likes of Dashrath Singh and CS Jodha competing with top jockeys. This poor Mumbai season is gonna end soon. Lets hope Racing era starts again by mid-June , Here are my selections of the day

*MUMBAI MASALA SELECTIONS (26/02/2026) :*

RACE 1 : Hrs no 2 (*PRIDE'S PRINCE*) eye-catching victory last outing when defeated 'AFRICAN GOLD' over C&D in a term race, now again running in same C&D in a handicap race, retains good form, positive switch in saddle, looks all set to hit the wire to complete his hatrick today.

Hrs no 3 (*EL GRECO*) if takes a level break can spoil the party.

RACE 2 : Hrs no 2 (*GHOST OF VICTORY*) ran with the pace to finish 2nd to GUNFIRE over C&D last outing, now again runing in same trip, retains good form and same combo is repeating, he should be in the finishing frame today.

Hrs no 6 (*LEMPIKA*) well prepared debutant should be in fight. 

RACE 3 : Hrs no 7 (*JACKSON*) well bred gelding ran 2nd to 'JOHNNY MAC' over 6 furlongs on his debut, should enjoy his pet distance after a long time, impressive in his morning trackworks, working jockey back on saddle, looks all set to get her long pending win today. 

*STRONG FANCY*

RACE 4 : Hrs no 9 (*SOLEVA*) drifted out badly to finish 4th over C&D last outing, impressive in her recent morning trackwork, same jockey retained on top with a favorable draw this time, looks all set to clear her maiden tag today.

*DAYS BEST*

RACE 5 : Hrs no 1 (*KOENIGSEGG*) coming after a long layoff tried over a sprint outing in a lower class, retains good form, worked well in his morning trials, 5kg claimer jockey engaged on top, if in galloping mood should run a forward race today.

Hrs no 3 (*MRIGA*) runs with an upset chance, keep an eye.

RACE 6 : Hrs no 1 (*PRECIOSO*) came up well from rear to finish close 4th last run over 5 furlong, now going over an extended trip, same try jockey retained on top, if in galloping mood can romp back home today.

Hrs no 3 (*JETFIRE*) moody galloper should fight for minor placings. 

RACE 7 : Hrs no 1 (*AMAZING RULER*) very consistent galloper but failed twice over this C&D, now again tried in a 7 furlong race with ace jockey engaged on top this time, good in his morning trials, deserves another chance today.
