It was observed during the race that the saddle pad and led bag used on SOVEREIGN KING (Antony Raj S.) fell passing the 1000 metres. After the race on questioning, Jockey Antony Raj S. stated that the saddle used on his mount slipped soon after the start due to which the saddle pad and led bag fell, his explanation was noted. Further, the Clerk of the Scale reported that Jockey Antony Raj S. had weighed in 1 kg. less than the weight at which he had weighed out, due to the discrepancy in the weight, as per the norms SOVEREIGN KING was disqualified.

This being the second instance of faulty saddling during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025/26, Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been fined Rs.5,000/-.

Sir he has dropped his weight during the race and so he was disqualified. 

Saddle slipped and carrying weight dropped.. so horse ran lighter then supposed to.. thus its disqualified
