Buckingham horse is a good horse and will take more time to come up better, d'rtgnan in bombay wasnt as mature as buck but still competed closento him.. 

Or perhaps he liked monsoon track better than buck..

There are couple of reasons I feel Buckingham lost. First was going. The style and way of running Buckingham ran in Mumbai, it's not a horse meant for slow going. It will be a different animal on good going. Second important thing is CNB has done wonders to D'artagnan. 

Why I would discount the run of Buckingham not because he lost, but there was no improvement at all. Also I noted except Prasanna Kumar all horses where Trevor was replaced lost.

The only reason why it will be contest to be watched is the improvement D'artagnan showed after putting Cross nose band. Otherwise Buckingham has beaten it fair and square twice. Only factor in both runs was D'artagnan was running without cross nose band.
