Those were the days,we confidently played the horses of above silks.

It is very good to see the colors of Mr.Jamshed Appu sahab in bangalore with some very good horses,his return in racing is welcomed hoping his presence in other centers also.

Two colors both in Gold. And were are precious as gold. Only difference one with Brown Belt and a Cap. And other with Red Belt, Arm Band and a Cap. Coincidentally both dominated the game in own ways. One was Undisputed King of Chennai and Ooty. Other was defending King of  Kolkata. 

In Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad they used to fire all guns out. 

None has seen such a rivalry and such a dominance in racing. The only outsider who could at times upset the apple cart was White, Black V and Red Cap. Whose main hunting ground was Bangalore. 

J. Foley, R.R Byramji, Bezan Chenoy, Imtiaz Sait, Uttam Singh all were at the peak. It was racing at its best. 

Shinde, Shroff, Aslam Kader, Narredus, Appu, Warren Singh and top class foreign jockeys used to be at daggers drawn on the track. 

MAM has given lot of memories to Indian racing. He at times send you home with happy moments to remember for life time,, like Smart Chieftan winning a Derby and shocks also ever to remember when Southern Empire lost the Derby to Diabolical. 

But one thing is for sure, no one would forget his name for atleast 100 years more. 

Why just legend like late Mr Ramaswamy sir their are so many those are not visible in racing industry anymore .

Gone are those days when winning was proud moment for owners and trainers . Everything has changed. Even government it treating this industry as step son. Madras n ooty already closed now delhi also got same treatment and Bangalore can be closed any moment. 

Is government only responsible? No the official engage in clubs have also misused the funds and look who is suffering. Poor daily wages labourer and jockeys . And even punters . Owners n trainers are now playing game of settlement not for prestige. 

Bitter but truth is indian horse racing industry is all set to get closed soner. We don't have many clubs n only we had 9 cities in which 3 already closed and one is on verge to get closed. So with 5 clubs how can this industry survive. Let's hope we get honest officials so that government sees the charm of revenue like ipl in horse racing also. We need to change entire system and we shall have to bring back trust of government n punters to reestablish this industry .

Legend sir, in the olden days,  heard, people speaking admiringly about him in the race courses 

Gone are those colours where the silks of Dr. MAM, Dr. Mallya and Deepak Khaitan used to dominte the turf clubs.

Now we are left with only some old colours across India and the future of racing in this current political regime is very bad.

God only save the clubs, related staff and proffesionals.

Yes said the true words.. legacy will remain... No colour will match the colours of Ramaswamy and as well as vijayamalya.. if and only if I cross the limits of my own ..one fine time I will bring back the colours  of Dr MAM with due respect to my upcoming stables if possible ...
