In Colts Trial Stakes ,only Colts & Geldings can run.

In 2000 Guineas, even Filles are eligible to run.

It is not just Summer & Winter.They are different races ,In terms of eligiblity to run.

Stud poker has peaked in Colts championship, further improvement looks unlikely. Prasanna Kumar will have to rework his strategy for 2000G 

I don't expect everyone's opinion will be same as mine after all it is the difference of opinions that makes racing.

Anyways the PANDORA'S BOX will open on 12th July and mystery will be unfolded.

Hey.. some people searching for stud poker ran in 2000 guniues..  but the people didn't understand the racing yet.. in summer fillies and colts and in winter 1000 and 2000 guniues.. both are same graded but name just changes .. so studpoker ran in colts means 2000 guniues... It is simple na ..

STUD POKER is a hyped horse, just like PROKOFIEV. Pk will have with PS MARGARETTA and one each from Dhunjibhoy's and Shirke's yard.

It was a great race, and Stud Poker certainly put up a strong fight.

I agree with your first two points. However, I don't see any mistake or poor judgment from Anthony's perspective. There was no interference, and he never stopped riding at any stage of the race. In my opinion, he gave his best effort throughout.

Yes, Stud Poker is likely to improve, but we also need to recognize that D'Artagnan will improve as well. Ultimately, it will come down to how both horses come out of the race, how well they rest and recover, and how their preparations progress leading up to the Derby.

Also, it won't be just these two in the Derby. We shouldn't overlook Margaretta, who could be a serious contender as well.

STUD POKER is like PROKOFIEV

A one run wonder.Beyond 1600 meters in a classy field STUD POKER will struggle 

And expecting that STUD POKER , finishing in front of MARGARETTA AND DARTAGNAN..the pessi duo ..in any race...is like a mirage in the desert.

No way can STUD POKER even finish under 3 lengths of the Pessi duo...mark my words

I feel Anthony Raj's lack of experience in a big race ultimately proved costly. At the crucial stage, he seemed unsure about which gap to take, and that hesitation made all the difference.

In my opinion, STUD POKER had the ability to win this race. Had an experienced big-race jockey like Trevor been aboard, the result might well have been different. STUD POKER lost by only a narrow margin despite facing interference and an interrupted run.

I believe the horse has plenty of class, and when he meets D'ARTAGNAN again in the future classics, he could very well reverse the result.

Suraj or sandesh  on stud poker would have made more sense. Anthony Raj , Neeraj Rawal and Yash Narredu have disappointed this season

Another jockey who has been very impressive this season is Ashad Asbar .

.Mr. Hussain, accept defeat and move on. No use of ifs and buts. Winner has amazing turn of foot and was much better horse on the day. Another day may show different result that's why there is handicapping. Winner will be even better over longer distance whereas stud poker will be limited to 1600 against class horses. Be humble, don't spoil your good image.

Dartagnan is out of very normal Indian mother..lacks class.. but trained to make many amends

Stud Poker is a got abroad...lfull of class but acks experience  for this race

@Husaain your observation is not pinch of salt but it's like taking away credit from winter by giving excuses. 

Stid poker won in debut run but what was the bunch he ran with ? Why in next outing for 1600 or 2400 or even more stud poket can never be winner in classics... Yes his first classic win will be in Mysore o my don't dream in next outing he will improve.

The hype created by prasaanakumar backfired .and in end it's racing so never be confident for what's going to happen. Remember when Quaset beat Be Safe many said in next outing Be safe will beat him but it never happened

 When you accept flower for winner than accept throne for defeat. 

I posted on another thread.. yes ridding lacked the firepower but that can happen. But he ran a mighty race this is just being his 2nd outing over mile.. He will surely improve and go ahead and win classic all over . Watch out for his next work out which will give an idea how well did he come out of this race and if he will up for Derby.

Someone like Stud Poker comes once in a while, and he made his presence felt in his very 1st outing, winning over 1400 on debut in a time which matches, or for that matter exceeded that of class I. Won by about 15 lengths, timings about 1:24, which could have been about a couple of seconds lesser if he wasn't so far ahead.

The Colt's Stake came a bit too early for him, was raw in terms of experience, and D'artagnan was quite a mature one, so one  need not read too much into that run.

I am pretty sure that he will win classics all over the country with absolute ease, and I say that based on the pedigree numbers, which I have pasted below.

The second line are numbers for the dam.

A figure of 37 in that line says it all, I haven't seen such numbers in a very long time.

Pesi has two good thing in the form of Margaretta and D'artagnan but I'm sure, with the emergence of Stud Poker on the scene he might be a bit of a worried man.

Yes, I agree with all your points for defeat of STUD POKER. SP also stumbled a bit before 800Ms.

The riding of SA Raj was well below par. He wasn't able to give justice to this pride purchase of the Poonawallas. Lately he is only good in ordinary races against poor class riders. He was not able to ride BUCKINGHAM too in earlier race and allowed to drift inwards in Mumbai(PBMM) & also here in Bangalore.

On the other hand Vivek G. has shown great improvement & horsemanship in his riding in Classics.

Yesterday stud poker could not have defeated in any way whether he got a clear run or Jockey s anticipation no matter.It may beat him in future not immediate.

It need experience. Once he gets it will be a different proposition for any distance.
