Foxy was too good and yes I was also surprised seeing him 50 paisa place and 105/100 win which i staked .....

Nevertheless tc

Something is really not going well in my mind that I gave Foxy and Antino to lay and both won. It's surprising for me because Foxy needed to improve hell a lot to negate that penalty and it did. Antino won because no. 5 ran a full circuit before the race and still they allowed it to run. Despite that it finished close 2nd. So I was unlucky there.

Last race, DANCING CLOUD has a good chance, however, SHE'S A TEASER could be a tough nut to crack.

So again, Pune is back. This time, Pune, be ready to take it back, or I'll be ready to get hammered. Let's see.

Race 1, here we go.

There are 10 runners and it's Class V Division II. Honestly, this is one of those races where you look at the field and wonder which one is the least bogus horse rather than who is the best horse.

I went through all of them class, timings, weight, penetrometer reading, set, etc. and finally my hunt came down to 4 Magical Moments and 6 Trailblazer.

It was a close call between these two.

First, I checked the jockeys. Magical Moments has Neeraj Rawal, who is obviously one of the top jockeys. Trailblazer has Ramaswarup with allowance.

Then I remembered his rides last week on Vortex and Santana Row. The way he handled both horses and got them to win was really impressive. That made me lean towards Ramaswarup.

So, first small edge to Trailblazer.

Then came the trainer.

Narendra Lagad is a very good trainer, no doubt. But when I checked the report card, D. Todiwala had a clear edge for me. His strike rate was around 8%, while Narendra Lagad was around 3% so far at Pune.

Again, the Trailblazer got the edge.

Then came trackwork.

I don't give too much importance to trackwork. For me, it's only around 10%. Trackwork can fool punters. Some trainers hide the real burst of a horse, while some give them a proper try for different reasons, including getting acceptance.

So I only want to know one thing from trackwork: is the horse ready or not?

When I looked at Trailblazer, I found some interesting things. He had run with Caradoc and was around four lengths ahead, and there was also the run with Lionheart, where he was well ahead.

Overall, I felt Trailblazer looked comparatively fit against Magical Moments.

Then I checked the swimming report.

This was another interesting point. Magical Moments, from Narendra Lagad had quite a lot of swimming. Now, I'm not saying that means something is wrong. It could simply be part of the trainer's preparation. But sometimes it makes you wonder whether the horse needs extra conditioning or whether the trainer has some other plan.

Trailblazer didn't even have a single swimming report.

So, putting everything together, I'm still slightly more interested in 6 Trailblazer.

But I'm not stopping here.

Now I want to check the odds and fine lines of 4 Magical Moments and 6 Trailblazer.

But still, these are the 2 horses keeping in my interest. The remaining 8 runners, I'm not interested in.

At least one out of these two should hit the board, or maybe both. Also, the odds will give a clear picture on race day.

That's it, guys. I tried my best and checked all the angles, and now the rest is left for race day. Let's see how it unfolds.

The reason I posted this in detail is because since yesterday, and even for many days before that, people have been asking how to learn handicapping on my instagram page ( fulong finder ) It doesn’t come easily. It takes a lot of detailing, study, and understanding. This is what it’s all about.

Hope this gives you guys some idea. And even after doing all this, sometimes we win and sometimes we still lose.

The remaining 8 races will be taken up for handicapping late evening after all the work is done, and they will be dispatched accordingly.
