We all get to see so many apprentice/allowance jockeys appearing and also disappearing - from the racing scene just like that. However, some of them draw our attention for specific reasons. As many of you have said here no one knows if Ramswarup will make it big in the future. But then, who thought Vivek G - who was less popular than even Vivek, riding for S Inayathulla stable - will start from a small centre like Delhi and turn out to be the most busiest rider in Indian horse racing today? 

Temprament, discipline,  Handling pressure n Confidence   are key factors when jockey gets matured.  Owners, trainers want success in Black type races where stake money is high. So they want a  Jockey which give results. Why Vivek G. is successful the above factors make him a Champion.

Ramswarup is my favourite too from the begining.

Bhosle and Bhagwat were good apprentices too. After they completed their allowances, no one entrust them with good mounts. This applies to Angad in South, Ansari in Chennai. Keep an eye on Nikhil Naidu in Calcutta on non favourites.

Most of the time a jockey is as good as the horse he gets to ride. Vivek G is a good jockey...but he gets rides on the best horses from the best stables like Pesi Shroff.

Honestly I have been in contact with ram since last 3 months he is one the honest jockey I have ever seen when others were busy in thier own lifes, he was working and tracking well in pune Racecourse day out, but I know the fact that honest jockey are used my trainers and then they left aside

Exactly. In racing, current form and opportunity matter more than reputation or past class. Even if P. P. Dhebe has been one of the fastest jockeys to reach 40 winners in Indian racing, poor mounts can make the statistics look very different.

A jockey needs the right horses, the right trainers, and regular opportunities. It’s too early to judge anyone solely on a short spell of results. Class may give you the ability, but form and the quality of mounts determine what you can show on the track.

Vivek G is future star .... Till now no one will close to him in younger generation

Apprentice holds a reat chance in handicap races that to getting mounts of leading stable is just a fortune that ends fast. After completing 40 wins let us compare. i don't think he even gets adhiraj mounts after completing apprentice.

Yes. He is a good jockey. Had a bright future along with Aditya wayadante..I don't think allowance matters to the riding skills. Allowance  to the jockey may increase the chances of the horse winning rather than riding skills. 

Saqlain was absent for a while when he was riding good. Hope he will be back to form .

At present Vivek.G is on top of all jockies.He mastered his riding skills within a short time..

he is riding well and so is the trainer  he is getting most of his winner with , ADHIRAJ JODHA.  both had  a super weekend. Adhiraj jodha ended up with  6 winners over the 2 days. very aptly doing well when a race to honour his father late M P Jodha( who was a good trainer  in his own right) was run. the icing on the cake was grandpa Purtusingh Jodha gave away the trophy to the winning trainer P Chauhan  and  Jockey  Dashrath Singh, both introduced to racing by M P JODHA and his nephews....all a family affair. :)

If you see Saqlain while he was apprentice he wins races on almost every Race course .

Saqlain was much superior than him. But where he is now??

Trainers use Jockey's allowance for their own benefit. So in My opinion it's to early to predict him as top jockey of India. Just wait and watch. Once he looses his allowance, then only we can talk about his Riding.

I play his Challenge Accepted on Independence Day at 20/1. As he is the only Allowance Jockey in field and Cole Book first choice is that Horse.

Any way Best luck for him. He is in Great form at Present.
