I would like to thank each and everyone of you who praised me for my selection and given me very positive comments. Thank you Fishing Foal for such lovely comments, means a lot.

As I have in the industry for a very long time, more than 40 years since my college days, owing horses too.

I always quote what my cousin who use to say, Once the gates open the horse doesnt know the owner nor the trainer, which is so true. It runs to its merit guided by the jockey.

Today was the day. I select horses with thorough study, but its 50-50 based on lots of factors. I wish each and everyone good luck! Play safe and dont go overboard, play within limits.

There are few great tipsters in this forum, I look at their selection as well.

Today's learning for me. Never lay in a small field and Never lay a fav when the horse you like is from the same connection . Anyways, loss is loss so accepting is better. After losing just 2 races in the beginning I am done for the day. I didn't lay Goodwill because it was above 4/1. But I lost playing 3 win. That was the horse for which I gave to lay no. 2. 

Next rece I gave to eat fav because I liked no. 2 a lot. But the way Tejeswar rode it never had any intention of passing stablemate. Confidence is gone for the day. Will cover the losses in Pune.

I have been reading your selections with a lot of interest for quite some time now. I also remember you getting frustrated very recently when your choices were failing for many days, and you even went to the extent of declaring that you are going to keep away from posting your selections for some time. Please don't do that and continue to post. People like me love your preferences so much Sir.

Race professor from where you got odds that Balck diamond will be hot favourite... I hope very soon you will give the answer . Racing is not prediction it's reading the horse. How can anyone expect this horse to be on board ...Means handy does not matter or class ... Someone predicted handy high because he is class above but forgot GOODWILL was better classed horse he ran in derby .

Alas! Nobody is discussing CASCADE in first race, which is a very serious contender based on its last runs over this distance, very very very serious contender.

In the last race Laamika should win.

1 BLACK DIAMOND 2 GOODWILL 3 KSEPIMAN all three ran upto 2400m. The first two ran in class3 as well. Goodwill already had a run this season over 1400m + By Deauville + Akshay your AK47 in the saddle. Weight of 2.5Kg difference between the two and horses weight is 449Kg. Black Diamond beat Garth by 3/4L and Ksepiman beat Garth by 7L both over 2400m and timings of Ksepiman much better than Black Diamond. Thats why I prefered Goodwill to win and Ksepiman for SHP.
