From September 2nd to 16th, BTC must raise a substantial amount of funds to meet government demands, thereby securing official permission to conduct the racing event.

Though Government grant a Temporary license, the racing in Bangalore is still in Uncertainty. Maybe 50/ 50 % chances for forthcoming seasons . There is need of permanent solution now.

Yes, it's confirmed ! Although it's a temporary license from September 1 to 16, it's likely to be extended further, subject to acceptance of certain conditions laid down by the government, including shifting the race course to a new location. So, we can all meet at BTC from tomorrow, with Trevor all set to win the opener in Kolkata.

What is there intention behind giving licence from September 1 to 16.

Governments heavily subsidize horse racing to prevent racecourses from closing, as many would otherwise shut down without that public funding, though club and industry officials have sometimes engaged in financial malpractices involving those same funds.
