Chindit won a couple of Grade 2s and Grade 3/Listed. The Lockinge is a Grade 1 and is the highlight of Newbury's Flat season.

I don't think he would have attracted the sort of fees or mares that would have justified him staying in England/Ireland. It's a competitive business here. But he'll be a very good addition to the Bangalore Stud Farm.

By the way, I'm by no means a Breeding expert, so please bear that in mind. But I find it a very interesting subject. I was fortunate to meet up with a (Sheikh Mohammed's) Godolphin/Darley Nominations Manager at Royal Ascot this year, and we had a very interesting lunch together. A very smart chap. He was there to entertain some of Darley's big clients.

Yes I was there for that race. Trained by Richard Hannon Jr. Also saw him at Richard's Yard, and on the gallops.

I think he took a bite at the winning horse rather the rider? He was quite good, although not in the elite range. Good enough for Indian standards.
