1) MONEY EXCHANGE is the horse to beat, but you can't back it because it tends to plant at the gates. Can't bet against it as it might take a level jump. Race best left alone. 

2) DARRINGTON has won over a mile, but in maidens company after blinkers were removed. Now running with blinkers. WANGANUI is a 3yo with a decent pedigree but hasn't gone over the mile. One has to take a leap of faith. But the work horse over this trip is REGAL ARISTOCRACY. Ran a good second to AVENER ( A semi classic prospect ). If one were to get place odds of even money for REGAL ARISTOCRACY, consider it as a gift.

3) The two market fancies will most likely be MYSTIKOS and LIVE THE DREAM, but both might find the scurry a trifle sharp. Can we look beyond them? If IDI MINNAL and MARK ONE don't cut each other's throat disputing the lead, there is a very distinct possibility that IDI MINNAL might upset the apple cart. An each way chance.

4) NEVER GIVE IN (62kgs )  although tracking well, often tends to blow hot and cold. Whereas VALIANT STREAM carrying 60kgs absolutely demolished the field in the lower class. Now carrying 55kgs and having maintained form and fitness, should complete an encore. 

5) With the withdrawal of BORN TO RISE, over this sprint trip one can lean towards STORM MAJESTY.

6) JERSEY KING has been systematically brought down to this class and is running over it's pet distance. Expect it to win here and again in the higher class.

7) NIGHT RAIDER ran an easy fourth behind ICE OF FIRE and ECHOES OF TIME in race no.121 ( 12-7-25 ). If it reproduces anything close to that run, it can make easy work of this field.
