After detailed analytics, I’ve locked in on Fortune Warrior (5).

Fortune Warrior has the motor to pull this off, though the jockey is only moderate.

Simran’s Attitude showed a good place effort last time for me and this time has the advantage of ace jockey Yash Narredu. But looking deeper into this bunch, I feel the horse has less motor than Fortune Warrior.

And I’ll always believe more in the horse, its data and what the numbers are telling me than simply relying on a jockey or trainer reputation.

2-3 FIFTY SHADES - Consistent last season without a win. Last run this season can be considered a lung opener with R Rakesh in the saddle. Now with V Bunde in the saddle will go wire to wire and come out of maiden ranks.

3-2 ROYAL MEMBER - After winning couple of races end of the seaon and ran a good 2nd over 1600m with R Vaibhav. Now Hindu singh in the saddle and going over the same distance will win this time.

4-4 BIG BAY - By Speaking of which. Ran decent races in Mumbai. First run in kolkata should be a winning one with Yash in the saddle who rode and won on this horse on couple of occasions.

5-1 BLACK EAGLE - Won impressively recently over 1200m by 6L 1:12:13 Now going over 1400m should suit. Previously beaten by 3 TRAKILA over 1400m. But I think BE got a run advantage.

6-5 FORTUNE WARRIOR - Ran a good 3rd recently over 2000m. Now going over 1400m. VR Jagadeesh in the saddle. Might be a quick double for the jockey.

At 2:30 PM The Star Phoenix Handicap with distance of 2000 meters and 4 horses 

The field shows ADMIRINGLY ridden by Trevor Patel shall be easy winner and I agree to it but my concern is about GOODWILL horse no 3 i honestly don't see him perfect for place but can win if their is any different thoughts among trainers . I feel eating it's place and investing on win might be beneficial for us.

Now at 3PM The Fairy Heights Plate and it's jackpot first leg I find fishy in this race of 7 contenders and I find VALERIAN 2 a solid contender for place because winner here will be surprise be sure STARLINER and FIFTY SHADES both won't do anything.

Now time clock shows 3.30 PM THE FLAMENCO STAR HANDICAP with distance of 1600 meters and 5 horses play NOORIE 4 and eat KEITARO and ROYAL MEMBER .

At 4 PM it's time for Dr Anil Kumar Memorial Trophy ..BIG BAY 4 a Mumbai based horse has an advantage in field of 12 runners and I am not just sure but confident that Yash will give best ride of his career but CIGAR GALAXY 7 Trevor looks tired or say won't be able to win or get place .

At 4-30 pm it's THE  STEWARDS CUP with five runners and honestly don't look beyond TRAKILA . No one can match him unless AK has some special permission on KING LOUIS 

Time is 5 PM and last race of day THE UNLEASHED HANDICAP with distance of 1400 meters and 8 horses and here also I feel FORTUNE WARRIOR 5 shall be best place bet and SIMRAN ATTITUDE best place eater.

1) ADMIRINGLY beat UPPER STREET by 3 lengths and UPPER STREET beat GOODWILL by 7 lengths. A straight line would suggest ADMIRINGLY should easily beat GOODWILL, but nothing is straightforward in racing. ADMIRINGLY has gone upto a mile and the extra 2 furlongs will really test its stamina. Carrying 60kgs won't be easy. The longer you travel, the heavier it seems to feel. GOODWILL on the other hand is running over it's pet distance and it has improved remarkably after being gelded before the start of the season. Furthermore it is receiving 8kgs and my vote is for GOODWILL. If however ADMIRINGLY wins, it becomes a terrific prospect for the derby.

2) VALERIAN and STARLINER look like the top two market fancies, but over a 1100 metre trip, FIFTY SHADES is no slouch. On 12th September the track reporter reported that it cut a time of 40 seconds over 600 meters on the outer sand track moving on the bit! That is not to be trifled with. A lot of people liked Fifty Shades Of Grey, but how many will be happy with FIFTY SHADES? Only time will tell.

3) KEITARO and ROYAL MEMBER were separated by a nose in their previous run over a mile. But since KEITARO had the benefit of a run prior to that, ROYAL MEMBER is expected to strip fitter and win in the hands of HINDU SINGH, akin to last season. 

4) The PBMM winner BIG BAY has been thoroughly prepared and is likely to make short work of this field. 

5)  TRAKILA has beaten BLACK EAGLE on two occasions previously over 7 furlongs and one would expect the trend to continue but for one phenomenon. BLACK EAGLE ran a mock race over 7 furlongs on 13-8-26, and cut a time of 1.23. Traveling handily and cutting that timing is unbelievable. So I used my stopwatch during the mock race video and stopped the clock at 1.25 which is still good enough. The odds on TRAKILA will be tight whereas the odds on BLACK EAGLE will be wide and inviting. I urge you to look at the mock race before you make up your mind one way or the other. 

6) A muddling race but the trend nowadays seems to be to try and land a gamble with a not so successful jockey on board. In keeping with the trend if and if only there is a gamble on TOTALLY EPIC, do not be discouraged by the jockey Md. AZHARUDDIN.
