TODAY MYSORE : ATTRACTIVE CARD ..HANDICAP N  FORM BOTH   FAVOURS. 

RACE 1  : DOUBLE SCOTCH  : Consistently running in frame .. good finishing efforts, watch out market support @ race time .AN EACH WAY PROFILE.

2. D ROMAN REIGN  : Last run brought him to contention ,finished close 5th , if produce that efforts will be there at busy end . VALUE : EACH WAY.

3. DESERT SHIELD & CARTER :  MAY FIGHT  OUT FINISH,  DESERT SHIELD 1ST run ,working well , top wt.  but getting 5kg allowance, only concern 1400 met without whip. While CARTER having class profile ,decent handicap chance,  last run best ignore was out of handicap,  won well @ same dist in higher class .

4. SELMA : Gaining form with each run ,won well last time ,Penlised, may defy VALUE  : EACH WAY .

5. STARZELLA : WON well at this distance beat Shristi who won in Kolkatta .. earlier ran close 3rd to classy Margarita at same dist. HAVING PLENTY OF STAMINA TO BEAT THIS SET EASILY.

Before I start my tips for the day I would just like to make few (Very few) tipsters than don't reveal your story and play drums. That if I lose today it's my last day for month or hammer or get hammered. These shows the negativity in your own . Anyways my choices are

@lone wolf..Not sure if the same tactics will work today like cloudy hills. TJCA with horse combination is good but I think Double scotch oe Stinking eyes could be the surprise element in the first race.

1) Sometimes you wish you had some inside information to help you look through the murky waters of horse racing to decipher a winning bet, but in its absence one has to remain patient, until it unfolds in the betting ring. Trainer M.BOBBY is someone who really knows his onions, and every season he seems to prefer a new jockey to carry out his machinations. This season he seems partial to jockey ALEEMUDDIN. Since the said jockey is on MAJOR SAAB, maybe something is brewing. 

2) We are trying to see if we can eke out a place bet, preferably at longer odds. The usual red herring in such cases is the choice of jockey to put you off. Not many will give jockey SALMAN KHAN much of a chance generally but if you deep dive into JASMINE'S previous run, it was an absolute no-hoper against the likes of AUSPICIOUS KING, SHUTTERFLY and YARRA YARRA, a bunch of 3 year olds over a 7 furlong trip. Even though it was just going through the motions, it was running fairly competitively up unto the last furlong with the same jockey aboard. Now it is running in aged company and over 6 furlongs. In my book that is a worth considering as a place bet.

3) CARTER seems to be the best performed horse. A year and half back it managed to beat LUX AETERNA in class IV company. Ran 4th to CHARISMATIC over a mile. Ran a reasonable 3rd to PLEDGE inspite of the jockey losing his whip. The point being CARTER has run against better horses in class IV. Now running as a demotee and with the services of jockey Md.TAALIB, might bring home the bacon.

4) NIGHT RAIDER'S ideal distance would be 7 furlongs. In race no.101( 20-6-26, Bangalore races) it finished ahead of the likes of SICYON, VALIANT STREAM, PERFECT ATTITUDE etc. Although running over 6 furlongs, NIGHT RAIDER still packs too many guns.

5) Inspite of running with the likes of ASTERION and FINE SILVER, who later on ran like duds, ROYAL LEGACY is the horse on the improve, but the horse to beat is STARZELLA. STARZELLA ran a superb 3rd to MARGARETTA in fillies trials at Bangalore under testing conditions. The following runs were vindication of that effort. 

6) BRAVE HEART was well prepared when it landed a good gamble over 1100 meters. As a 3yo it has the most scope for improvement and being the progeny of AIR SUPPORT, suggests that the 7 furlong trip is within its compass. A no whip race, so claiming a 5kg allowance makes sense. Maintaining its form and fitness, the front running BRAVE HEART should give the rest of the field many an anxious moment. 

7) The same logic that applied to JASMINE, applies to SUPER STRIDE. Both ran previously in the same race. At longer odds one might fancy a place bet.
