A pathetic card today, sort of a minefield, I doubt if even one favourite will win, and the shortest priced one, Sassy Sarah comes across as day's best lay bet. Has run in very ordinary company, going up in class, well, the only thing favouring her is the age factor, but I am quite sure she will lose.

A couple of RWITC horses can score today, GORDON and EXCELLENT WARRIOR.

Quite like a rank outsider in the 4th race, am quite impressed by MOONLIGHT QUEEN's timing in the last race, unbelievably, that timing is about 6 lengths superior to a class I race. MQ is not showing up in the odds but I feel it's an absolutely good place bet, as for me, whatever the odds, I will play for win.

In the first race KING CARLOS is your tip if you study you will notice that KING CARLOS ( Late QUICK WITTED) was a miler and never sprints.Today over a scurry it wont be sighted even in the fight,SAMARTH is a shady connection horse and is the favourite,so we have to be careful,but else on MERIT today EVERWIN and PURPLE MARTINI should have the arce to themselves.

Your choice 4 th race VIBRANT QUEEN.Well VQ is a speedy front running type but do study here another very fast horse IDImINNAL is there who possesses blinding spe3ed. Now horses like VQ,if they dont hit front they are   "OUT" so do study again.Two late rushers SPLENDID DREAM and GLORIOUSNESS can eat the field with their late dash.

1-3 SAMARTH - By Akeed Champion. Lightly raced, just 6 runs so far Running in the lowest cat with 5yr old+ Recent run a good a good 2nd over 1200m 1:12:86 with an apprentice on board. Now Ankit Pal in the saddle should win this time. The danger is 2 BROCSTON who is 0/20 but running consistently is sure to place.

2-1 ACT OF KINDNESS - Just one run and a win in bangalore. Will continue winning with TP in the saddle again.

3-4 OCEAN OF GRACE - By Winlegend. Still a maiden after 9 starts. Last couple of runs over 1600m can be ignored. I am sure will run a good race this time to come out of maiden ranks being 4yr old and many are aged horses.

4-9 WAITARA - By Winlegend. Recent winner in bangalore over 1200m in class4 1:12:63 carrying 62Kg with A Raj in the saddle. Now running in higher class with A Raj taking the ride again. The danger might come from 3 SPLENDID DREAM who ran a good 2nd recently in mysore over 1200m 1:10:62 is sure to place with an apprentice on board.

5-4 IRISH COFFEE - Ran an impressive 2nd recently over 1200m 1:10:71 with AA in the saddle. Now going over 1400m will suit with A Raj in the saddle. It will be a quick double for the jockey. 6 MIND GAMES is the next best in the race and a good place bet.

6-10 GORDON - By Holy Roman Emperor. I like the breed. Still owned by Poonawala. Running with 5yr old+ Last three runs with RN Darshan in the saddle in bangalore.  A win is due, should win at longer odds. I would recommend an eachway bet.

7-2 THE GREY GERANIUM - By Winlegend. A recent winner over 1200m 1:11:71 with Rafique in the saddle from the word go. Now going over the shorter trip 1100m with P Sai kumar carrying an extra 4.5Kg that will not stop him winning again. Will go start to finish again.

1) SAMARTH after it's Bangalore initiation must have looked the Complete Package as it was installed as the 10 to 8 on favorite at Mysore. Came 3rd and an enquiry was opened. In its next run as a 5 to 4 favorite, burst its blood vessels and came 5th, vindicating the trainer at the enquiry. Not amused, the owner changed the trainer and SAMARTH ran a good 2nd. Trainer changed again. If I was the trainer, I'd be hoping to win, just to retain it in my stable. To be, or not to be, that is the question.

2) 3yo ACT OF KINDNESS may start as the favorite, but it didn't beat anything of note. Carrying the top weight and the wide draw, it might be hard pressed to justify the top billing. 3yo EMINENT GOLD after a winning debut, came a poor last over this trip at Hyderabad. 3yo PREVIEW'S winning debut was the most impressive, but in its next run was beaten to 3rd place by 3.5 lengths by the 4yo ROCKING STAR, who had previously run a good 4th to SHINING WAYS over 1300m in a good time. SHINING WAYS then ran a good 2nd to IRON MIRAGE. ROCKING STAR after two reasonable efforts over 1200m ran a good 4th over 1400m, showing a liking for the distance. Trainer has ditched the whipless apprentice for a strong rider, and is the danger in the field. Looks like a really good place prospect. 

3) OCEAN OF GRACE was the failed favorite in its first three outings. Tends to run in the van and has shown glimpses of its readiness to strike. A favorable innermost draw, a stronger rider and if smart money rides on it, should make it wire to wire.

4) ZIVA beat a class III field at Bangalore in which 3yo SIEGE STORM was the favorite in a smart timing of 1.24.92s, with a beautiful stretch run and SASSY SARAH was part of the beaten brigade. Penalized a measly 9 points (thereby still running in class III) which is offset by the choice of allowance jockey in this no whip race. SPLENDID DREAM could challenge ZIVA considering it ran 2nd in a 1200m trip in a good time of 1.10.62s. IDI MINNAL will try to make it a start to finish affair, but ZIVA should get this from SPLENDID DREAM. 

5) SASSY SARAH looks like a good miler but ignore it over 7 furlongs at your own peril. Carrying 60kgs and giving 6kgs to stablemate STARZELLA, ran within 5 lengths of it over 1400m. Besides, speed is relative. When it ran a good 2nd to ALFONSINE earlier, it's principal opponent AQUASTIC was nowhere in the picture. 

6) FINAL CALL is tracking extremely well and may start as the favorite, but it will have to contend with THE LEADER who is also tracking well. The Dark One however is MISTER BROWN. Ran within touching distance to SICYON, WINFIELD and PLEDGE over the mile trip with a whipless apprentice on board. Jockey ANTONY RAJ gets the ride, and if the trainer's other ward ROCKING STAR makes an impression, do not ignore this.

7) THE GREY GERANIUM will be hoping that the 62kg handicap will be offset by the reduced 1100m trip and try to go end to end. WOOD ART on the other hand will be hoping that the pull in weights can do the trick.

I beg to differ on your logic for the upset choice WAR EMBELEM.Rifht from its Chennai days WAR EMBELEM is known to be a late rudher and always comes from way of the pace.Front running is not its forte.

DAVIDS DELIGHT yes I agree it dies have speed.but generally there is a difference between a front runner over a sprint and a front runner over middle distance.Over a sprint for a front runner blinding speed is required while a front runner over middle distance,well as all other late rushers will be casual to begin with a horse having little speed will obviously find itself in front.

So ...DAVIDS DELIGHT may  or may not find itself in front over 1200..let's see.I agree if it finds itself in front he may be there till the last 200 meters or do and then get punctured because front running and sustaining it in a sprint is a different cup of Tea all together
