1) OSAKA on three occasions has finished 2nd. Bad habits die hard. Ask GARZIAN. Besides it has an extra furlong to traverse and will probably be an odds on favorite. No value in the bet. YOUR SRI SHAKTHI was prepared at Mumbai for a likely gamble over here. After INVICTOR ran 3rd in the PBMM, it was a 10 to 6 on favorite in its next run. YOUR SRI SHAKTHI who was out on an airing finished within 5 lengths of the hard ridden INVICTOR. The trainer who likes to play with his cards close to his chest, must have been miffed with the trial jockey, when it ran a good 2nd, pushing FINE SILVER to 3rd, thereby nearly displaying his hand. Jockey RAFIQUE SK can give a hard ride when needed. If it's a medium of a gamble, should win.

2) A bit of a muddling race and MAKOTO or JAILER, depending on which way the odds are moving, may come trumps.

3) Based on the Hyderabad form, MOON ORACLE should win this from SENSUOUS. But GARZIAN, the shp specialist might argue about the 2nd place. 

4) When SHIBRA beat FALCON FURY over 6 furlongs, ZEPHYRINE came a close 4th. Trip is over 7 furlongs and FALCON FURY is a bit suspect over this distance. ZEPHYRINE on the other hand ran a good 3rd to SASSY SARAH over a mile and should have been the automatic choice in this set, but no. For no reason at all it is being fitted with blinkers for the first time. The horse might either detest the blinkers or it might need this run to get used to it. That brings us to BALGOWNIE, who once beat LEGACY at Chennai in a smart time of 1.25.09s with jockey INAYAT astride. Came over to Mysore and ran a good 3rd to RED FALCON, who won running away this season. The Trainer SEBASTIN and Jockey INAYAT combined to win on ADMIRAL SHAW and a similar effort on BALGOWNIE means it is an early CHRISTMAS for the trainer. 

5) Firstly kudos to the trainer of BULLETPROOF, a moderate horse, but by taking him around the country and pitting him against even more moderate opposition, has managed to win more than 30 lakhs in stake money in its last three runs. STUD POKER who ran a fighting 2nd to D'ARTAGNAN over a mile trip is expected to win. It's last win might look a bit labored but it was running after being gelded for the first time. The well prepared BLACK IRISH should follow STUD POKER home.

6) Another muddling race and AGERA might just come out on top. MARTINO a potential threat, was withdrawn twice on medical grounds. STAR COMET and CHOTIPARI might need more galloping ground, so AGERA it is.

7) I'm looking for an upset here and SUPER STRIDE who ran an easy 5th, 5 lengths behind the fighting trio of AUSPICIOUS KING, SHUTTERFLY AND YARRA YARRA, all 3 year olds, fits the bill. As a 3yo ran as a half money favorite to RAMIEL over the mile trip and ended 2nd. Distance is not the issue. At longer odds, an each way chance.

In Pune I lost a huge sum of amount roughly 3lakhs playing time and tide and in Hyderabad lost 5lakhs played a single horse nri high power, no idea what Akshay was planning to do within the gates.
