I think.with an better jockey quattro would have won.easily.by.1 to 2lengths   poor handling by jockey  ashad asber I think he is  not upto the derby standards jockey he can win in.ordinary races not semi.and.classic.races. even last.100 mts he don't know where to get in even in.bend he was very outside which.cost him 2 to 3lenhths poor handling for an.gud horse

My preference today is MADANTE, each way.

In his last run, Akshay was unable to find an opening in the final stages and had to switch diagonally to give the horse a clear run. By the time he got clear, the post had already come to the rescue of Moonveil.

An enquiry was subsequently opened, and both the trainer and jockey were questioned.

Today, Madante's run will be under the close watch of the stipendiary stewards, so there should be no room for excuses.

This is a bought-abroad colt with an interesting and classy pedigree. His sire, Zoustar, was an Australian sprinting star, while his dam carries Deep Impact blood, with a lineage that has produced Classic winners in Japan—a pedigree with proven staying credentials.

The only drawback I see is that this particular stallion line is not currently represented in our Indian studs.

From a business perspective, the bigwigs of the sport may well prefer a pedigree that is already established and stationed in India to win this coveted event. That is the only angle that makes me slightly cautious about going all-in.

As a punter, my advice is simple: play PLACE MAX and WIN a little. That should keep us in good stead while still giving us a decent interest in the race.
