05-Oct-2026Hi Godzilla Sir!
For the first time, I’m saying someone sir in this forum. You were actually the first tipster I used to follow when I started racing. From those early days until now, it has been a great journey, and I still remember following you six or seven years ago.
Today, I came to know that you’ve completed 50 years. That means you’re a well-rooted, experienced man now! But as they say, age is just a number.
Nevertheless, it was really good to watch the selections. And your single selections were absolutely bang on you hammered them!.
From the beginning till today, I’ve seen the journey, and it’s genuinely good to see where you are now.
God bless you with good health, happiness, and a wonderful life ahead
Thanks

05-Oct-2026Dear Godzilla,
Happy retirement..!!
Horse talk will definitely miss your predictions going forward. Your predictions at times (if not everytime) were out of the box and was helpful for most of the punters to bet on the horses that you had believed in..
Once again thanks for all the contribution you made for all these decades.

I was expecting this from you for quite some time now as of late your pickings were going wayward and leading your die-hard supporters to dig deep holes in their pockets more often than not.
I very much remember the kind of rousing reception you got here when you tipped 'Tintinnabulation' (P S Chouhan-astride) to win a Classic at Hyderabad at 10/1 years before.
There are many more such instances to cite, but like every person comes across a reality check, you too started meeting with 'bad luck' and almost everything you pointed your fingers at flopped.
Why many people - including me - did not bother much for your comments is only because you never tried to substantiate your claims like 'Why should so and so horse win or lose?' All you were doing these days is to give phrases that suit either the name of the horse, rider or trainer. For instance, whenever Akshay Kumar came to ride a mount, your standard comment would be 'AK47 will win'.
I was also very unhappy with your questioning a senior pro like Karthik Ganapathy when the wonder horse that he was dealing with for many years happened to fail once. Those were highly mischievous or a reflection of the bloody thought that you were above everyone.
The NewGen punters here look for critical reasoning which was missing in you very much. In fact, you were always riding on the hype created in you, mostly by yourself.
For all the contributions that you have done to HT, I salute your 'bravery' at this ripe age and wish you a very, very happy retired life.

Thank you for being a part of our Horse Talk family for so many years. We truly appreciate your valuable presence, support, and contribution throughout this journey.
However, I feel it would have been better if you had taken your retirement after the Pune Derby. Nevertheless, we respect your decision and wish you all the very best for your retired life.

05-Oct-2026Sir we are not accepting your resignation or retirement plan from Indian racing industry; your service & suggestions are most important for new & oid generations: don't upset from buddy or giddy derby winner's: it's part & partial of sports; take it easy & contune in horse racing - this is my request : our ex pm gowdaji not retiring after 93 years in politics ; then retirement is not for me /you / & others ; thank you
