Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Warren Singh to substitute Jockey K P G Appu to ride his charge DARE YOU SAY in place of Jockey J H Christopher the declared rider. VISONAHLD (Md. Thameem) bolted on its way to the Racecourse. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn. CAREERIST (Vijay Kumar) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. On examination after the race by the Club`s Veterinary Officer, LOREMO (Ahsan Qureshi) was observed to have sharp molars and was trotting sound. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi and Jockey Ahsan Qureshi to the Stewards pertaining to the running and riding of b.f. LOREMO. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi, Jockey Ahsan Qureshi and also, the Club`s Veterinary Officer, Dr. C V Niranjan. After deliberations, they decided to (a)
