Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to withdraw SWISS CHOCOLATE (D Mahendran) on veterinary ground, as it was lame on right fore due to sprained tendon. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey S Mubarak the rider of BELLEZZA was fined Rs.1,000/- for taking an unduly long lead in the race. On examination after the race, the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that the right hind shoe of WORTH A GOLD (D Gnaneshwar) had apparently splayed during the race. After the race, HALEY`S COMET (S Chandrashekar) was observed to be lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. T Natraj was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. BABBU THE SLY (P S Chouhan) sustained a cut injury on left hind pastern.
