Racing Incidents
HAVANA (E Smith) and ARRAYAL (D K Ashish) were troublesome to load thereby delaying the start of the race by two minutes. Tr. Vijay Singh and Jockey C Alford were questioned regarding the running and riding of AXMINSTER placed 3rd by the Judge in the above race. The Trainer stated that :- a) he instructed the Jockey to take a good start, position his mount to the best of its ability and to do his best in the straight. b) he was satisfied with the running of his horse and believes that its failure to finish better was because of its slow beginning.
