Racing Incidents
Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was fined Rs.500/- for not obtaining prior permission to take his charge SPRINT STAR to the starting gates in advance of the remainder of the field, as per General Condition 20 of the Prospectus of BWM 2008-09. OCEAN FLAME (V.R. Jagadeesh) veered out badly approaching the 800 Metres and raced on the sand track thereafter. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
