Racing Incidents
The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Gaurav Sapra for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "USE OF WHIP" to the Stewards for the excessive use of the whip on his mount STRONGANDHANDSOME during the race (3rd infringement). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey Gaurav Sapra and after deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey Gaurav Sapra from riding in races from 4-11-2009 to 6-11-2009 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "USE OF WHIP" in that he used the whip excessively on his mount STRONGANDHANDSOME in the above race (permitted to ride work).
