ART CONNOISSEUR (Ch.K. Chary) was fractious inside the gates injuring Jockey Ch K Chary who was declared unfit to ride, AIR CONNOISSEUR was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Explanation of Jockey Ravinder Singh (ALYBRO) that his instructions were to sit 3rd or 4th which he could follow until entering into the straight and thereafter when asked for an effort his mount did not respond to his urgings and suddenly ducked out at about the 300 metres taking him by surprise was confirmed by Trainer A. Vatsalya and noted for future reference.
