Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to withdraw SOLITARY CHAMP on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Trainer Mr. M Eshwer was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge, STRONG MINDED (Ramandeep S Bal), as regards shoeing.

 

A detailed enquiry was held into the interference caused on account of Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of RASHIDA shifting in and causing severe interference to the horses on his outside viz: FANTABULOUS PRINCE (Imran Chisty), AMAZING ONE (Md. Shafiq), and GAME OF LIFE (Vivek) soon after jumping out of the starting gates. Subsequently Jockey P.S. Chouhan was fined Rs. 5,000/- for not maintaining a straight course soon after the start and before passing the red marker post.
