Racing Incidents

 

CASTRO (Ryan Marshall) was extremely fractious and got stuck under the starting stall for a considerable period of time as a result the breast plate on it snapped. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders.

Jockey N. Rajesh, the rider of BLUE STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).

STADIUM OF LIGHT (S. John) sustained gum injury.
