Racing Incidents

 

SORRENTO (B. Prakash) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced WONDER LASH (A. Ashok Kumar) on the inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M. Ravi, the rider of CELTIC WARRIOR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to SECRET VISIT (C. Alford) on his outside which had to be checked by its rider. LADY KLEIO (Naushad Alam) which was travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider approaching the 900 Metres.

WONDER LASH (A. Ashok Kumar) could not get a clear run approaching the 1000 Metres due to a closely packed field.

Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of SORRENTO, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 100 Metres.

Jockey Naushad Alam, the rider of LADY KLEIO, reported that his mount was galloping in snatches throughout the race. Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f RAPPADAN GLORY.
