Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw TAKE MY WORD (S Mallikarjun) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained large bruises under mid neck region. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S Mubarak the rider of CARNIVAL OF JOY was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to KRIPA (S Guruprasad) on his inside, approaching the 600 Metres. BAFFLED (Shanth Kumar) which was travelling directly behind also had to be checked by its rider.

Jockey Shanth Kumar, the rider of BAFFLED was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.

SPANDAU BALLET (B Mahesh) sustained cut injury on right chest wall.

KRIPA (S Guruprasad) sustained injury on right shoulder and right stifle.

KAR O BAR (R Vaideeshwaran) sustained gum injury.
