Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Amit Caddy to withdraw I TRUST ME (M Mark) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from Colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey N Rajesh, the rider of CLEVER TRICK, reported that his mount was hanging in throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. 

Jockey M A Gallagher, the rider of I SAY was questioned regarding the riding of his mount I SAY. The Jockey stated that his mount was running green during the early part of the race and when he shifted it out after passing the 700 metres it started accelerating well and ultimately finished a good third. His explanations were noted.
