Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to withdraw FIRE VAULT on veterinary grounds as it was found to be suffering from colic. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HIGHLAND VISION (S Mubarak) was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer at the Starting Gates and was found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Nassar Alam, the rider of HAPPINESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course, passing the 1000 Metres, thereby, inconveniencing CATERINA (P S Chouhan) on his inside.

Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of SCIMITAR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing severe interference to GRAND WARRIOR (Shobhan Babu) on his inside rounding the final bend.

Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of GRAND WARRIOR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing very severe interference to SCIMITAR (R Vaibhav) on his outside rounding the final bend.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that the left fore shoe of  GRAND WARRIOR (Shobhan Babu) had apparently splayed during the race.
