Racing Incidents

ONE ONE ONE (APP. B. DILEEP) took a fly jump losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Jockey S. Sreekant (KEY NOTE) cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race.

HOMELY HELO (A. ASHHAD ASBAR) was denied a clear run at about the 200 metres.

An objection lodged by Jockey P.S. Chouhan (GRAND CONNECTION) placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey K. Anil (BEST PAL) placed 2nd by the Judge was upheld by the Stewards and ordered revised placings as under:

 Horse No. 2 – TRUE FUTURE (APP. A.K. PAWAR)             -- 1st

Horse No. 3 – KEY NOTE (S. SREEKANT)                  -- 2nd

Horse No. 1 – GRAND CONNECTION (P.S.CHOUHAN) – 3rd

Horse No. 7 – BEST PAL (K. ANIL)                            -- 4th

The Stewards suspended Jockey K. Anil (BEST PAL) from riding in races with effect from 19th to 23rd January, 2012 both days inclusive  for careless riding.

Jockey K. Anil is however permitted to ride work.
