SPURT (J Paswan) was pulled up by its rider, approaching the 1000 Metres. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer after the Race, it was found to be lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey S Mubarak, the rider of TRIGGER, reported that he lost his whip, approaching the 400 Metres.

It was reported after the Race that the right hind shoe of PASSAGE OF TIME (Saddam Hussain) had apparently come off during the Race.

It was reported after the Race that ATTATURK (Nirmal Jodha) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of ARC ANGEL to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading, “Use of Whips”, in that, as the rider of ARC ANGEL, he excessively used the whip (third infringement) during Mysore Winter Races 2012-13. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Jockey M Rajesh Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey M Rajesh Kumar from 27-01-2013 to 31-01-2013 (both days inclusive), for the excessive use of the whip on his mount, ARC ANGEL (third infringement) in the above Race [permitted to ride work].
