The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that VIRGIN HEART (R Parmod) was lame on Left Hind at the Starting gate as such was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr.Bharat T Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.

HUGE PRICE (Sikander Ali Khan ) refused to be loaded as such was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. In consequence of VIRGIN HEART & HUGE PRICE were withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win or place bet was effected.

Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider of SEVEN EIGHT SIX (drawn 11) was fined Rs.3000/-for sharply coming onto the rails at the Red Marker thereby taking the grounds of  SECRET POWER (K.Narender Kumar) who in turn went onto ROAMING FAME (D S Rathore) and  SADAJIT (M.I.Qureshie) travelling on the inside, the latter receiving a severe check loosing considerable grounds.

Jockey M.I.Qureshi the rider of SADAJIT was questioned about his riding who stated that he was instructed to sit 2nd/3rd which he failed to do so due to  SEVEN EIGHT SIX (Gurpreet Singh)  moving in and crowding  him   soon after the jump out. It was pointed out to him that passing the 600 mts he should

have taken the rails which was the shortest way  home instead he opted to  drift out under the use of whip and finished extreme wide  placing his mount at a disadvantage, as such he was fined Rs.2000/- for this lapse. Trainer Mr.S.H.Abbas was of the opinion if the jockey had followed his instructions his charge would have performed better. The gelding was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s veterinary officer reported (missing  tooth- with no effect in racing performance)
