Racing Incidents

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of OCEAN AND BEYOND, was fined a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for the injudicious riding of his mount in that soon after jumping out of the starting gates he held his mount in restrain and failed to improve his position till approaching the middle stages of the race, thereby placing the gelding in a position of disadvantage which had a bearing on the eventual placing of his mount in the race.
