Passing the distance post SMOOTH AS SILK(Shezad Khan) making progress on the outside of WORDS(B Mahesh) was inconvenienced when WORDS which was placed under pressure by the use of whip shifted ‘outwards’. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey B Mahesh(WORDS) was shown the CCTV replay of the race, reminded that he had been cautioned earlier in the day to exercise better control of his mounts when placing them under pressure and fined a sum of Rs 2000/- for his careless riding.

b f PASSPORT returned to the unsaddling enclosure with a severe bleeding cut injury on its left hind. Tr D M David has been advised not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Veterinary Department.
