Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw ROYAL SALUTE (P. Kiran Rai) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore due to inflammed hoof. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

As Jockey N. Ganesh, the declared rider of INVINCIBLE PRINCE, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan to substitute Jockey B. Harish to ride INVINCIBLE PRINCE in place of Jockey N. Ganesh, the declared rider.

RUMOUR HAS IT (P.S. Chouhan) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced REFRESHED (P. Mani) on its outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey M. Noornabi, the rider of ACE MESMERISE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming in sharply within 100 Metres of the start and checking his mount thereby forcing Jockey P S Chouhan to check his mount RUMOUR HAS IT which was moving from behind. As a result it was shifted out and caused interference to REFRESHED (P Mani) on the far side. Further MY FAVOURITE VOICE (Arshad Alam) running behind the latter was checked by its rider suddenly and stumbled. Jockey Arshad Alam the rider of MY FAVOURITE VOICE reported that on account of this, his saddle shifted forward and as such he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount. He further stated that his mount did not gallop fluently thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary observation but no abnormality was reported.

Jockey C Harish, the rider of FRENEMEE was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race.

Jockey Indarjeet Singh, the rider of SANS FRONTIERES was reprimanded for the inept manner of handling of his mount especially in the last about 100 Metres the race. He was further informed that in view of the fact that he won the race no further action was taken but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action.

FRENEMEE (C. Harish) sustained cut injury on right hind canon.

MY FAVOURITE VOICE (Arshad Alam) sustained bleeding cut injury on right fore coronet.
