Racing Incidents

TASVEER (B Srinivas Rao) was slow to begin.

Trainer Mr. Vijay Singh when queried regarding the running of his charge b f ALTANZA, with particular reference to the fast pace set by the filly in the early and middle stages of the race which had an eventual bearing in its placing, stated that the filly intends to run too freely in the early stages of the race as observed in all her previous runs in spite of his instructions to the Jockeys to ride her in check.  However, he would make every effort to prevent the filly from doing so in future.  The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanation.
