Trainer S M Abbas and Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of NIZBATI PRINCE. Trainer stated that he had instructed the jockey to sit 4^th/5^th and do his best using hands and heels and make use the whip very sparingly as it resents on whip.  Jockey stated that he had followed the Trainer’s instructions and done his best. Not being satisfied with their explanation they were directed to appear before the Stewards. The Stewards directed the Stipendiary Steward to further delve into the matter and put up the case in their next meeting.

NIZBATI PRINCE was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Negotiating the bend GOLDEN (Dilip Singh) which suddenly shifted outwards had to be steadied, as a result of this, the saddle used of GOLDEN shifted to the rear side placing its rider at a distinct disadvantage. Jockey Dilip Singh when questioned stated that after the saddle shifted,  he attempted to re-adjust his weight so as to shift the saddle back to its normal position. He was concerned it might shift again, thereby resulting in him not being able to ride his mount out. His explanations was noted.

FLASHFORWARD (Amandeep Singh) was slowly away, Trainer I S Parmar was advised to give sufficient gate practice before accepting with it again in a race.

MORNING DEVOTION (Nazim) reared up as the start was effected.  In view of its behavior Trainer A Khan was advised he must not accept with his charge until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in a mock race on a race day on the race track.

Jockey Saddam Hussain the rider of ROYAL QUEEN was severely reprimanded for riding an incompetent race in that negotiating the bend he allowed his mount to drift out and thereafter approaching 200 mts allowed his mount to shift in.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that PRETTY DIAMOND (Dashrath Singh) returned lame on Left Fore during the race. Trainer Rajinder  was advised a veterinary certifcate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.
