After due examination by the Club's Veterinary Officer at the saddling enclosure, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw SOCIETY MUSIC (A Ramu) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on right hind. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of HAY DAY, reported that the saddle shifted back, rounding the bend. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. G Srinivas Babu was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey M Kumar, the rider of STRIVE AND SERVE, reported that he lost his whip in the last 100 Metres of the Race.

Jockey N Rajesh, the rider of CINNAMON RUSH, reported that his horse was not galloping fluently rounding the final bend and slowed down drastically despite his best efforts, in the straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Trainer Mr. B K Narendra and Jockey Afsar Khan were questioned regarding the running and riding of LA PIPERI, in the above Race. The trainer stated that a) he had instructed the rider to take a good jump, sit in 4th or 5th position; b) to travel along the rails and ride out in the straight; c) but due to a closely packed field, his rider could not go along the rails and despite the rider's best efforts in the straight, his charge finished off the board. The Jockey, when questioned, stated that; a) The trainer had instructed him to sit 4th or 5th and to tuck his mount along the rails and do his best in the straight; b) His mount took a good jump but was bumped by the other horse, viz., KOHINOOR BLITZ (Irvan Singh) at the start and as such, his mount got very keen; c) He had to ride his mount in check, to follow the riding instructions through the back strech; d) Due to a closely packed field, he could not take the rails run, and despite riding her out in the straight, he could not finish on board. Their explanations were noted.

It was reported after the Race that LA PIPERI (Afsar Khan) sustained bleeding cuts on outer left fore cannon and inner right hind cannon.
