Racing Incidents

On the way to the start, UNCLE CHOICES (S.Zervan) dislodged the rider and bolted. The horse was caught at the starting gate. However, since Jockey S.Zervan was hurt and unable to ride, UNCLE CHOICES was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order.

Jockey D.K.Ashish (BELLA LUNA) has been cautioned for shifting in before the red marker.

Near 300 metres, KOAL (Kavraj Singh) shifted in and went on to TURF DANCER (S.Mosin) who in turn caused interference to ROCK IN RHYTHM (I.Pasha). Jockey Kavraj Singh has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

Jockey P.Trevor (SHE IS SPECIAL) reported the loss of whip near at about 250 metres. This being the second occasion of him losing the whip during the current Mumbai Meeting, he has been fined Rs. 2,000/-. The Stipendiary Stewards would be further inquiring into this incidence.

Jockey Dashrath Singh (VICTORIO) reported that his instructions were to be in third position but gelding did not have initial speed hence he could not follow the instructions.

After the race, KOAL and SHE IS SPECIAL were found to be sound.
