As Jockey Irfan Ali was certified medically unfit to ride, hence permission was granted to Trainer Richpal Singh to substitute Jockey S Amjad Khan to ride GORGEOUS BABY in place of Jockey Irfan Ali  the declared rider.

Jockey R Parvesh the rider of ASHWA DHRUVI  reported that soon after jumping out the starting gates he had to check his mount to avoid clipping the heels of ASHWA BIJLEE (Riazuddin) which shifted in.

Jockey Riazuddin the rider of ASHWA BIJLEE reported that his mount was hanging in from the 300 mts of the race. Trainer H A Khan was informed to take remedial measures before accepting in a race.

Trainer Rajinder and Jockey Jai Parkash were questioned regarding the running and riding of  SACHARINES. Trainer stated that :-

1. He had instructed the jockey to position 5^th/6^th and do his best on entering the straight.

2. He stated that after the race the jockey Jai Parkash reported that MASTER RONALDO (Akash Rajput) which was drawn 7 was very fractious in the gates whereby it put his fore legs into the stalls of SACHARINES whereby the jockey left hand got injured and immediately  the start was effected.

3. His charge was quite keen in the initial stages of the race whereby the jockey had to check it to avoid galloping freely and while negotiating the bend and into home straight when placed under pressure his charge did not respond to the riding of the jockey and ran detached from the field.

4. The trainer further stated his charge is still a maiden and was quite shocked to know that his charge opened favourite.

While noting his explanations Trainer Rajinder  was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance and not to accept with it until it ran in a mock race on a race day on the race track to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner GORGEOUS BABY  in the presence of Trainer Richpal Singh and sent for Analytical test.
