As Jockey Suraj Narredu, the declared rider of SUMMER MANE, could not arrive to fulfil his riding engagements due to reasons beyond his control, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Z Darashah to substitute Jockey S John to ride SUMMER MANE in place of the declared rider.
Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, SWISS LADY (N Ramesh Kumar). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used.
ARABEELA (T S Jodha) planted and lost many lengths at the start and, thereafter, ran detached from the field. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S M Johnson was informed to ensure better performance of his charge and that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.
Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of PUSH THE LIMIT, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the first 100 Metres of the Race.
Jockey Nitin Singh, the rider of COUNTRY'S CHARM, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to SUMMER MANE (S John) on his inside, in the last 50 Metres of the Race.
Jockey A Ashok Kumar, the rider of LADY BOND, reported that his mount was running 'out' throughout the Race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Jockey S John, the rider of SUMMER MANE, reported that his mount was inclined to run 'out' in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it had sharp molars and fresh injuries inside mouth. Hence, Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence [first infringement].
