As Jockey Nirmal Jodha, the declared rider of TRIPLE VICTORY, could not arrive to fulfil riding engagements due to unforeseen circumstances, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S M Johnson to substitute Jockey Nitin Singh to ride TRIPLE VICTORY in place of the declared rider.

CATWALK QUEEN (M Prabhakaran) was examined at the Gates and observed to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Shivnath Paswan, the rider of DELTA DELIGHT, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to LOOK ME NOW (N Rajesh) on his outside, soon after the start.

Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of GO MAN GO was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to DELTA DELIGHT (Shivnath Paswan), on his inside, approaching the 1200 Metres.

CONCENTRATION (Irvan Singh) accidentally brushed the False Rails, between the 1100 Metres and the 1000 Metres.

Mr. Vikram Appachu was questioned into the improved performance of his charge GO MAN GO (Janardhan Paswan), which placed a very close second in the above race in comparison to its previous run in Race No. 72, The Varuna Plate – Div I (About) 1200 Metres for horses rated 20 to 45, 4 years old and over, when ridden by Jockey C Harish, it ran unplaced. The Trainer informed as follows; a) it is very consistent in all its runs except its previous run; b) In its previous run, while jumping out of the Gates, it had brushed the Gates thereby injuring itself as well as the Jockey and thereafter it ran detached from the field; c) In the above Race, two fancied runners were withdrawn and the favourite ran below par and his charge just about finished second; While noting the Trainer's explanations, he was informed to maintain consistency in the running of his charges in future.
