Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider of CAPTAIN COOL reported that his mount was running green throughout the race and on entering the home straight when he used the whip on its inside it started to drift out and ran on the outer portion of the race track. Trainer H A Khan was informed to take remedial measures before accepting with it in a race.
App Jockey R Rakesh the rider of VEER reported that his mount was running green and drifted out in the final stages of the race. Trainer Deepak Kalra was informed to take remedial measures before accepting with it in a race again.
Jockey V R Jagadeesh the rider of ROYAL TOUCH reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.
Trainer K P Singh was questioned with respect to the running and riding of his charge MULLRINA ridden by App. Jockey Khet Singh. He stated that he had instructed the jockey to take a good jump and go to the front and position 2nd/3rd and do his best on entering the straight. He was quite surprised with the way of Jockey had handled his charge. App Jockey Khet Singh was called in and questioned about his riding . Not being satisfied with his riding he was fined Rs.5000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount from the 400 mts of the race. He was further warned that repetition of similar manner of riding would entail severe disciplinary action. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
Jockey Naresh Kumar the rider of SMILE OF LOVE jumped out erratically and refused to raise fluent gallop and whipped around wherein the jockey was dislodged. In view of its behavior trainer K P Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in two mock races on a race day on the race track.
The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that TRULY MAJESTIC bled. In terms of RWITC Racing calendar notification the horse has been banned from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time bleeder) K P Singh was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race. Compulsory urine sample was taken from TRULY MAJESTIC in the presence of Trainer K P Singh and was sent for analytical test.
