SUBHAGYA (Sahanawaz) got hurt on the way to the Starting Gates and sustained multiple injuries on left fore knee. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancies in shoeing  in respect of his charge, GIRALDA (M L Bhosle) [first infringement].  

CHACHALOOCHOO (Mohammed Mushraf), accidentally clipped the heels of MICRON YAACOW (H G Rathod), the frontrunner, stumbled, dislodged the rider and crashed into the False Rails, passing the 1500 Metres, and did not complete the course.

Jockey S Manohar, the rider of BORN FOR STAKES, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to STRIVE AND SERVE (Arshad Alam) on his outside, in the last 100 Metres of the Race.

Jockey K Mukesh Kumar, the rider of GOLDEN STEPS, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.
