Permission was granted to Trainer Ajay Sharma to withdraw SHIVALIK CHARM on veterinary grounds as it was lame on Right Fore. He was further advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Jockey Md Habeeb the rider of MISS INDIA reported that he was instructed to go to the front and do his best on entering the straight, he further stated that approaching 850 mts he could not get a clear run due to crowding of the horses hence he had dropped back and thereafter he rode out his mount. His explanations were noted for future reference.

Jockey M I Qureshi the rider of SPRING TO FAME was reprimanded for making celebratory gesture in the final stages of the race.

Jockey Naresh Kumar the rider of DESERT OF GOLD reported that approaching 800 mts while he was improving his position KING TO BE ( K Narender) shifted in wherein he had to check his mount.

Jockey Sameer Khan the rider of LITTLE DUKE was called in and questioned regarding his riding. He stated that he was instructed to position 4th,5th and 6th and do his best on entering the straight. He further stated that soon after jumping out of the starting gates he was inconvenienced by the horses on the outside. Trainer Richpal Singh corroborating the Jockey’s statements stated that his charge received a check and it dropped out. Not being satisfied with their explanations the matter was reported to the Stewards who have ordered for an enquiry into the running and riding of LITTLE DUKE.

KING TO BE was examined by the Club’s veterinary Officer who reported no apparent abnormality.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner SPRING TO FAME  in the presence of Trainer Shakti Singh   and sent for Analytical test.
