ALWAYS UNITED (Nitin Singh) was examined at the Gates and observed to be trotting lame on right fore; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders; Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate  from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey R Ajay Kumar, the rider of DELIBERATION, was fined a sum of Rs.3,000/- for not keeping a straight course before passing the Red Marker Post, thereby crowding the field on his inside, and thereafter, for coming 'in' sharply and causing severe interference to STRIDE TO SUCCESS (L Prashant) on his inside, passing the 400 Metres.

Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of DELILAH, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to DELIBERATION (R Ajay Kumar) on his inside, before passing the Red Marker Post.

Jockey P Mani, the rider of ARETES, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount, during the Race. He was informed in the presence of Trainer Mr. J Saravanan that a similar manner of riding in future would entail him being reported to the Stewards for appropriate action. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed to be careful as to the future running of his charges.

It was reported that BROWN FAIRY (N Ramesh Kumar) burst its blood vessels; Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

FLAMING SPEAR (S Manohar) sustained gum injury.
